Cascade is a free daily score puzzle. A row of colored squares slides back and forth above the board, and you drop it so each square falls down its own column. Match colors to score, build shapes to clear, and keep the stack under the ceiling for as long as you can.
How do you play Cascade?
- A row of two to five squares slides across the top of an 8 by 15 board. Tap the board, press Drop or press Space to let it fall.
- Each square drops straight down its own column until it lands on something.
- The row can slide two squares past either edge. Anything hanging off the side when you drop is thrown away.
- The Flip button reverses the order of the squares in place.
- The run ends when any column reaches the ceiling line.
How does scoring work?
Landing squares earn chips for every same-color square they sit on or beside. Each square that matches something adds to a multiplier, and a ×2 square doubles the whole drop. Grey squares score nothing. Those drop points are banked quietly while you play.
The number you watch grow is your clear score. Every time a group pops, a chip beside your total shows what it added. At the end, your banked drop points count up into the total.
What clears?
A connected group of five or more squares of one color clears when it contains a 2×2 block, a line of four, an L or a T. The whole connected group goes, and so does any grey square touching it, even diagonally. Each grey pays a bonus. A zigzag on its own never clears.
Everything above falls into the gap, and if that makes a new clear, it chains. Every step in a chain is worth more than the last.
Do the pieces speed up?
Yes. The row moves faster the taller the stack gets.
What do the medals mean?
Your final total earns bronze, silver or gold. The marks are bronze 800, silver 2,600 and gold 5,300, and they may be tuned as more people play.
How do you share your result?
The Share button copies your puzzle number, medal, score and the number of pieces you played:

On a phone, Share opens your share sheet.
Tips for Cascade
- Aim for fives. Four connected squares don't clear, so leave room for a fifth.
- Grey squares fill the board quickly. Clearing a group next to them sweeps them out.
- Look at the hover line. The row rides just above your tallest column, so tall spots shrink your room.
